School of Nursing:
- Community Midwifery Training is 18 months program recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad.
- Affiliate with DHQ Hospital, Family Planning Hospital and CMH for clinical exposure.
- Our School of Nursing has fully equipped Skills lab, Library and teaching aids.
Background:
In the year 2005 Two Girls, one from Rahimabad and other from Bagroat Valley has shown their interest in Nursing Education and were sent to Karachi for One year Nursing Training at Hamdard Hospital.
In the year 2006 have started giving midwifery community training to the educated girls from far flung valleys such as Danyore, Bagroat, Haramosh, Jalalabad, Ochnkandas, Gilgit, Bargo Bala,Rahimabad, Chalt, Nagar, Sumair, Ganesh, Astore and Skardu, .
Free of Cost Hostel and Pick and drop facilities are provided to these students of far flung areas.
Achievements:
Since its inauguration, 16 students in the year 2006-2007, 17 Students in the year 2007-2008 and 20 students in the year 2008-2009 have completed their training and will soon appear in Nursing Board Exams.
Our trained students are successfully running our Satellite Centre.
